Introducing HoneyBower In Japan

Koichi Iikura introduces HoneyBower to readers of his technology blog in Japan. He covers the Internet, appliances, mobile, cloud, big data and analytics, security, social media, AI, IoT, autonomous vehicles, and now backyard beekeeping! People might be surprised to discover how much technology is used in the beekeeping space.
Iikura-san and I became acquainted in the 90s when he worked at PFU and managed the Japanese translation of a book that I published called Interactive Selling in the 90s by Roger Fetterman. We’ve kept in touch for over twenty years, and now are both in our seventies!
A couple of interesting areas for discussion come to mind:
The Role of AI in Publishing
Because we both have publishing and technology backgrounds, I think it’s safe to say that the role of AI in publishing is the “elephant in the room.”
To retire, or not to retire? That is the question!
Why do some people choose to continue working beyond what is traditionally thought of as “retirement age” ? I’m a good case study for this lifestyle choice!
I’ll add these topics for discussion and share a few thoughts to get things rolling.
