Updating Your Profile Images

New members can update their profile after posting three messages in the community forum.

Image Requirements

Cover (header): 1040px by 250px,  72 dpi .jpg

Avatar: 150px by 150px, 72 dpi .jpg

To change your profile header: 

1. Prepare an image that is 1040 pixels wide by 250 pixels high.  Then, save it as a 72 dots-per-inch .jpg file.
2. Click the Change Cover Image icon in the lower-right corner of your profile header.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

To upload a custom avatar:

1. Prepare an image that is 250 pixels square. Then, save it as a 72 dots-per-inch .jpg file.
2. In the Avatar section of your profile, choose Upload an Avatar.
3. Click Choose File. Then, find the image you prepared in the directory and choose the file.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
