The AI Elephant in the Room

I have mixed feelings about AI.  I avoid it as a writer, although every time I run a spelling or grammar check, I'm inviting AI into my workspace. I love using AI for voice-over narration and the AI-generated summaries that have taken over the top search spot. However, I don't want AI to scrape my site for content. I've come to the conclusion that content producers should set aside certain content as bait to "feed the beast." Then, lock everything else down, block, stock, and barrel.
